Manufactured using a two-way carbon tubular and a 38mm medium hardness Hypersoft EVA core, laminated by layers of carbon fiber fabric and fiberglass fabric. The core is reinforced with plain carbon fiber fabric and impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin for maximum elasticity and strength, covered with a layer of titanium dioxide.
TECHNOLOGIES
- HEXAGONAL FRAME: Hexagonal frame whose shape gives greater rigidity and strength to the blade, because in the frame is created a rib with a straight part (edge) and another chamfered (bevel).
- HEXATEX TECHNOLOGY: Rough texture with a hexagonal shape on the surface, which increases the effect that the ball takes when it comes into contact with this surface in topspin or cut shots.
- DIFFUSER: Technology developed with the aim of directing the flow of air in the only "treatable" area of the blade where the air passes, its heart. The advantages of this technology are:
- Greater player speed in both fast shots and smashes.
- Greater shot regularity by making the trajectory more constant, thanks to the zero influence of turbulence that conventional blades normally have in the core area.
- More shots with more control, thanks to the reduction of this turbulence.
Its design is inspired by the diffuser that the Brawn GP Formula 1 team first included in the rear and lower parts of the car.
- HEXAGON PROTECTOR: New adhesive protector designed exclusively for models with Hexagon chassis. In its previous version, this protector weighed 21g, however, thanks to the new design, its weight has been reduced by half, now weighing only 10g. It has been designed and manufactured via an injection mold from low hardness PTU to absorb shocks and scratches. It attaches to the blade frame using an adhesive material without the need to drill holes in the frame, thus avoiding the need to weaken the frame for attachment. This eliminates any vibrations of the protector and provides a total twinning between the blade frame and the bottom surface of the protector.
- ADAPTED AND GRADUATED HOLES: Technology of graduated holes adapted to the shape of the blade. It consists of using 3 different sizes of holes, making them smaller in the central area (10 mm in diameter), medium in the central area until we are closer to the frame (11.5 mm) and large in the perimeter area or closer to the frame (13 mm). With this perforation, we are able to compensate the excessive flexibility of the blade center with the low flexibility of the core zone that joins the frame, thus allowing for greater impact homogeneity and increasing core strength. This drilling technology has also been used with 2 diameters (13mm in the perimeter zone and 11.5mm in the center zone) in ranges of blades not used by professional players as they are softer due to the hole in the center zone is 11.5mm instead of 10mm.
HYPERSOFT: Soft foam core with spectacular hardness and extension measures, which gives the blades a very balanced control and power to be used at low temperatures or up to 25º.
